Bash, have you got TT running on XP ? I get it to run but it cuts out for no reason. There are various fixes out there but I wondered if you'd had any success or if you've even bothered ? I might get an old pc running just to play the game !

No it won't run in XP, (there's a thread about it somewhere, the Microprose site I think) only the De-Luxe version will run in XP. Otherwise for us its Win2000/ME/98

Thats a bit of a bugger. I got a patch for it but it doesn't like it somehow. Did you get the TTD patch then. Try this and follow instructions: www.owenrudge.net/download/download?t=1&id=129I haven't yet tried it but i will have by tonight!! ;D Edit: Further to this ..... it now works!! yay!! A note: First install the game normally. Go to X:\MPS\TTWin95 (Where X is you drive letter) or where ever you installed TTD and put the ttdpatchw.exe file in there. RUN it! The patch file will make a few more files and then should start the game. If the game doesn't start find the error in the list and look at the solution. Error Reading RegistryGo to Start, Run and Type regedt32 (Not regedit). Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FISH Technology Group\Transport Tycoon Deluxe\HDPath and double click it. Then simply click OK. Don't make any changes. Try again Create process failedDelete the file TTDLOADW.OVL and run TTDPatch again. Not Full screen or no soundTry setting ttdpatchw.exe (and/or TTD itself) to run in Windows 95 or Windows 98 compatibility mode. Simply right click on the file and Compatibility tab. If you have anymore problems contact me.

Relax - you don't need the original disk - just the 13Mb download I gave you, and a couple more files. I'll check the link I gave you .......... yes that is ok. The download of "ttd-win.zip" is the replacement "CD"!! Further to that you'll need the links on www.transporttycoon.net/linksThese are the three files you'll need: Give me a shout if you don't find the other two small files and I'll email them. (about 500k each)
