I managed to get hold of the full package of Trainz about a week ago, and to the "new user" it is an excellent product visually and has very good "Training" routes to get you used to the game. It has the normal "Cab" views, although these are 360 degree, exterior views of the rolling stock and surrounding countryside, "AI" trains and road transport, and people to give atmosphere. The "cab views are however a computer repaint and mock-up vs the BVE now "normal" photographic cabs. (It's a pity that this couldn't have been combined into the Trainz package). A typical Trainz cab: vs a BVE version: Visually, the realism of the "stock" & "countryside" of the different locations is excellent, spoilt only by the "fairly infrequent" poor response times in the refresh of my screen but that is probably my video card not being good enough. There is a phenomenal amount of trackside components etc to go with all this that the overall enjoyment is very much enhanced. (A few "UK Type" pics below) However, the main enjoyment to be gained from all this, for me anyway, is the "Surveyor" portion of the program whereby it is "comparatively" easy to make your own routes and yesterday I started construction on "The Brighton Line" (although at this rate I'll be lucky to get past Preston Park!!) Two of the biggest problems I have is working from memory, and my ignorance of legal/mandatory track signaling. Overall, very enjoyable, with slight flaws.

I only just noticed these screenies. They do look good. You don't get 37s at Brighton btw

Lol Salma, I think they were 57's and I know that, but when I took them I had not come across any CIG's or 366's. I have since.
