We're pleased to release several new pieces of content for both developers and users to enjoy.
First off is a brand new High Speed Train coach. This is the TGS or Trailer Guard Second coach found between Second Class and the Power Car. This coach allows users to complete the High Speed Train coach rake as found operating on the UK national network. Supplied here are three colour schemes to compliment the default stock.
Second, we have two brand new scenarios to enjoy. The first one is based in Tyne Yard. This little mission sees the player testing the power of their loco as they arrange a train ready for hauling. The second is set on a stormy morning in Oxford. The player must be alert to varying signal aspects as they pilot a commuter train to Reading.
Next up is a new TrackRule for developers of both Free and Commercial content. This TrackRule combines all track types available in Rail Simulator into one easy to scroll list instead of being spread between the specific routes as used by the Development Team. Once installed, this TrackRule can be used in-game straight away.
Also being made available for the first time are the source files for the Rail Simulator keyboard layout. These Input Mapper files can be opened using the DevTools, and allow users to change the keys used for each control in Rail Simulator.
